He is survived by: his wife Lori Godsey; his children, Hunter Godsey (April Godsey), Brittany Thomas (Sean Thomas) and Marissa Elliott (Paige Elliott); and his grandchildren, Caden, Emma, Charlie, Wyatt and Madison. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oakley-Cook Funeral Home (2223 Volunteer Pkwy, Bristol, TN 37620). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1019 Valley Dr, Bristol, VA 24201).
