He was predeceased by: his parents, Ike Vestal and Carolyn Doss Barnard. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Frye Vestal; his mother-in-law Judy Frye; and his siblings, Annette Persinger and Eddie Vestal. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Main Street Chapel (427 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery (26385 Denton Valley Rd, Abingdon, VA 24211).
