She was predeceased by: her parents, Rachel Jones and Charles Jones. She is survived by: her husband Robert Bishop (Bob); her children, Mac Bishop (Autumn) and Maggie Elliott (Nathan); her grandchildren, Olive, Charlie and Monroe; and her sister Meredith Hixson (Paul).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Give Kids the World Village, a place Jan saw firsthand bring joy to children and families.
