He is survived by: his wife Danna Messer; his daughters, Jenifer Messer and Jessica Linkous; his children-in-law, Jason Thompson, Jason Linkous and Chelsea Messer; and his grandchildren, Laken Thompson, Branson Messer, Jonas Linkous and Finley Deere. He is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces.
