He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Sams and Sylvia Sams; and his sister Sandra Sams. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Sams; his children, Patricia Bell (Allen Bell) and Chad Sams (Melissa Sams); and his grandchildren, Carter Sams, Maylan Sams and Logan Bell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Central Christian Church (424 Melrose St, Bristol, TN 37620). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Glenwood Cemetery (839 Bluff City Hwy, Bristol, TN 37620).
