It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Palestine Gangewere (Bristol, Tennessee), who passed away on September 20, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillman Mullins and Nannie Mullins; her husband William "Bill" Gangewere; and her siblings, Theron Mullins, Eugene Mullins and Gloria "Spicy" Adkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Tim Gangewere (Lori) and Bill Gangewere (April); her grandchildren, Heath Gangewere (Kendra), Troy Gangewere (Miranda), Nick Gangewere (Roxy), Shortridge and Nathaniel Sullins; and her great grandchildren, Hayden, Aubree, Kai, Lyla, Adie and Kylie.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cross Park Church (2222 Volunteer Pkwy, Bristol, TN 37620). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Snyder's Memorial Gardens (5913 Kingsport Hwy, Johnson City, TN 37615).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to Cross Park Church (2222 Volunteer Parkway, Bristol, TN, 37620) in memory of Pal.
