He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Nichols and Gladys Nichols (Broyles); and his brother Robert Nichols. He is survived by: his significant other Evelyn Nichols (Bracewell); his children, Alan Nichols, Randy Nichols and Kim Daniels; and his brothers, Elbert Nichols and Jim Nichols. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
