He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Wampler and Edna Sweeney Wampler; his brother Mack Wampler; his sister-in-law Cathy Wampler; his sister Debbie Wilson; his nephew Chris Lynch; and his brother-in-law Freddie Steele.
He is survived by: his siblings, Teresa J. Steele, Tony Wampler (Robin), Louann Wampler and Joy Shaffer (Donnie); and his nephew Ray "Doodle" Wilson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to R.A. Clark Funeral Service to cover funeral expenses.
