He is survived by: his sister Jean Lewis; his sons, James A. Smith (Michelle Smith) and Timothy G. Smith (Amanda Payne); his grandchildren, Dylan Smith, Hailey Smith, Gage Lahr and Traine Lahr (Amber Barker); his great grandchildren, Oaklynn, Cyrus and Braxton Lahr; and his sisters-in-law, Johnnie Smith, Gloria Smith and Cathy Doss. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
