It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roy Ernest Ward of Bristol, Tennessee, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar L. Ward and Mildred Vernon Ward; his siblings, John "Jakie" Ward, Robert Ward, James Ward and Vannie Booher; and his brother-in-law Herbert Trinkle.

He is survived by : his siblings, William "Billy" Ward (Donna), Sharon Ward and Lillian "Shirley" Trinkle; his half-sister Shirley Burton-Wheeler; and his close friends, Danny Binkley and Linda Widner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army in memory of Roy.
