He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Marcum and Gracie Arnett Marcum; his wife Nora Hall Marcum; his daughter Shannon Sluss; and his brother Donnie Marcum.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Yelena Ramsey; his children, Roy Marcum, Jr. of Bristol, TN and Robbin Johnson of Chattanooga, TN; and his siblings, Herman, Bobby, Ricky Marcum, Shirley Bush and Brenda Turner of Manchester, KY. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
