She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Gordon and Nannie Belle Phillips Gordon; and her husband Bill Dunford. She is survived by: her children, Donna Neal, Carman Perry and Karen Patrick (Michael); her grandchildren, Melanie Cook (Katyuscka), Michael Cook, Tyler Eads, Nichole Galliher (Matt), Christopher Fields, Joshua Fields (Shawnah) and Amanda Phillips (Zach); her siblings, Woodrow Gordon and Mary Lou Couch (Robert); and her pet Sophie. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. The family also has a gofundme for Ruth: Ruth Dunford has always been a beacon of kindness and generosity in her community.
