He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Edgar, Ollie Breeding of Abingdon, Scott and Pearl Jackson of Lafayette; his father Larry Scott Jackson (Virginia) of Big Rock; and his nephew Jensen Jackson of Willow Springs.

He is survived by: his mother Sheilah O'Quinn of Abingdon, Virginia; his siblings, Stephanie White of El Mirage, Arizona and Dylan Jackson of Big Rock, Virginia; his close friend Hope Warren; Matthew Warren.

In a final act of love, Stephen's family—guided by the values he lived by every day—made the decision to donate his organs.
