She was predeceased by : her father Ralph Gilliam; and her former life partner Mark Whitaker. She is survived by : her daughters, Christi Whitaker and Tiffney Whitaker; her grandchildren, Allison Whorton and James Whorton IV; her niece Kim Vires (Matthew); and her friends, Jon Martin, Gizmo, Baby, Big Wiggle and Little Wiggle. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Pet Partners in Bristol, TN in memory of Wendy.
