She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Saia and Grace Maggio Saia; her husband John Thomas Smith Jr.; and her granddaughter Ashley Redmond. She is survived by: her children, Paul Smith (Kathy), Thomas Smith, Patrick Smith (Sherry) and Kathy Mathis (Allen). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. John's Catholic Church (910 N Washington Ave, Brownsville, TN 38012). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Brownsville Memorial Gardens (2488 US-70, Brownsville, TN 38012).
