He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Cecil Thomas Dixon (Sue), Ed Sanford (Libba), Joanne Dixon Smith, Donna Dixon Mitcham (Jeffrey), Martha Dixon Akins (Kevin) and Elizabeth Sanford Hidley (Jim); and his friends, Jim Haywood, Annie Jones and Gayle Maddox.
