He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Crenshaw Perry; and his siblings, Bill Perry, Elliott "Sonny" Perry, Ben "Peewee" Perry, Jim Perry, Tommy Perry, Sally Glennan and Mary Catherine Perry.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Perry (Cindy) of Humboldt, TN and Shane Perry of Bentonville, AR; his stepchildren, Bill Currie (Julia), Allen Currie (Cindy) of Brownsville, TN and Cathy Powell (Mark) of Jackson, TN.; his siblings, Allen "Buddy" Perry (Linda) of Cadiz, KY and Nancy Bingol of Virginia Beach, VA; his sister-in-law Betty Crenshaw of Yalaha, FL; and his caregivers, Mary Ann Davis, Pat Culp and Audrey Dornan. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
His contributions to education and the countless lives he touched will be remembered and cherished by family, friends, and the community he served so well. The family requests that memorials be made to the Marla Angotti Youth or Teachers on Mission through the First United Methodist Church, 117 E. Franklin, St., Brownsville, TN 38012.
