He was predeceased by: his parents, James Madison and Allie Jane Witt Crossen; his wife Rosa Blanche Crossen; his son Jerry Crossen; and his siblings, Jimmy Crossen, Willard Crossen, Harlen Crossen, Beatrice Daniels, Genorah Morris, Esther Kent, Margaret Williams, Dorothy Hardy, Katie May, Lottie Hazel and Bobbie Escue.
He is survived by: his children, Katherine Baggett (Travis) of Brownsville, TN, Rebecca Wambles (Russell) of Apopka, FL, Brandon Crossen of Apopka, FL and Charles Crossen (Cindi) of Clinton, MD; and his brother Walter Crossen of Brownsville, TN. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Brownsville-Haywood County Senior Center, 127 N. Grand Ave., Brownsville, TN 38012.
