She was predeceased by: her parent Ola Estes; her son Troy Lee Estes; her brothers, Willie Estes and Albert Estes; and her grandchildren, Faison and Unika Nixon.
She is survived by: her son Johnny Lee Nixon; her grandchildren, Timara Nixon and Johnny Nixon, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Messiah Grammer, Faison Nixon, Johnny Nixon, III and Kyng James Bullock; and her siblings, Lucille Rogers, Mary Woodson and Charles Estes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family has requested that donations be made to the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
