He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Russell and Ila MacKenzie; his brothers-in-law, Jim Stowers, Tim Wright and Gary Garrison; and his friend Pat Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Russell of Bruceton, Tennessee; his daughter Michelle Anglea (Cordell Lee) of Bruceton, Tennessee; his sister Agnes Russell of Cedar Springs, Michigan; his grandchildren, Courtney Anglea Chavez (Dillon) of Davenport and Catherine Anglea of Ashville; and his siblings-in-law, Jeffrey Wright (Dena) of Cedar Springs, Michigan, Lisa Stearns (Doug) of Flushing and Tamera Garrison of Grand Blanc, Michigan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages friends to plant a tree in honor of Michael.
