He was predeceased by: his parents, William David Lassiter and Faye Raspberry Lassiter; and his siblings, Marla Thompson (Joe), Verla Robinson (Ronnie) and Randy D. Lassiter.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Jackson Lassiter; his children, Renae Lassiter and Rodney Lassiter (Mendi); his grandchildren, Billee Lassiter and Bodey Lassiter; and his brother-in-law Doug Jackson (Debbie).
