He was predeceased by : his parents, William "Willie" C. Boyd and Etna Jones Boyd; his spouse Jackie Jackson Boyd; his son Tim Boyd; and his siblings, Eva Pierce, Beatrice Cook, Allene Clayton, Myrtle Canady, Leon Boyd and Willie Gene Boyd.

He is survived by : his son Terry Boyd of Buchanan; his grandchildren, Drew Boyd (Ashton) of Buchanan and Olivia Dicus (Ethan) of Paris; his sister Betty Carter of Paris; and his great grandchild Belle Boyd.
