With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jon Huizinga of Buchanan, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 9, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

For Jon is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his father Elwood "Jack" Huizinga; and his uncles, William Syles and Donald Huizinga. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Haak Huizinga; his sister Susan Alford (Joe); and his aunts, Carol Syles, Ruth Mosher (Ed) and Suzanne Huizinga.
