He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edgar Smith and Hazel Ryan Smith; and his brothers, Phillip Smith and Richard Smith. He is survived by: his children, Tia DePriest (Phillip) of Huntingdon, TN and Scott Smith (Carol) of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandchildren, Tiffany Peterson and Scotty Ball; his great grandchild Kinsely Rose Ball; and his close friend Wincie Wright.
