It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Ray Davis of Buena Vista, Tennessee, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Davis and Alphia Davis (Maness); and his brothers, Tony Davis, Glenn Davis and Leon Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Moss (Joe) of Huntingdon, Melissa Davis of Lexington, Waneta Davis of Richmond Dale, Tommy Davis (Stacy) of Buena Vista and Calvin Davis (Holly) of Buena Vista; his brother Houston Davis of Westport; his grandchildren, Trustan Detty, Garrett Moss, Whitney Detty, Hillary Moss, Alex Davis, Dalton Davis, Beau Davis, Hunter Wortham, Fischer Wortham and Chandler Wortham; and his great grandchildren, Aidan, Lily, Jaxxyn, Mia, Sterling, Millie, Isabella, Addison, Tucker, Wylder, Lainey and Layne.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home (21190 E Main St, Huntingdon, TN 38344). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home (21190 E Main St, Huntingdon, TN 38344).
