He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cope and Kate Cope. He is survived by: his close friend Brenda Cleusman; and his brothers, Arthur Cope (Cathy), Jack Cope (Rosella) and David Cope (Susie).
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Powell Valley Cemetery (575 Dryden Loop, Dryden, VA 24243).
