It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Young of Bulls Gap, Tennessee, born in Sparta, Tennessee, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben F. Young, and Pearl Lee Young, Sr.; her grandson Jerry Lynn Davis, Jr.; and her siblings, Ben F. Young, Jr., Erbie Young, Charles Young and Sherry Humphrey.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Saylors; her grandchildren, Travis Davis (Meagan) and Kayla Zinkhon (Levi); her great grandchildren, Aiden, Lydia, Dominic Davis, Preston and Nolan Zinkhon; and her granddaughter-in-law Shonda Conti-Davis.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hunter Funeral Home (120 Bockman Way, Sparta, TN 38583). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
