He was predeceased by: his father Robert Amerman (Elizabeth "Betty" Didion); and his siblings, Jim Didion, David Didion, Lisa Stephens and Mary Kay Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Amerman; his daughters, Dawn Amerman and Danna Swanenberg (William); his grandsons, Sheldon Amerman and Grant Amerman; his brother Lon Amerman; and his niece Taylor Amerman.
