He is survived by : his son Ron Adkins (Christi); his siblings, Melva Baskin, Yvonne Bryant and Nathan Adkins; and his grandchildren, Jack Adkins, Kara Adkins, Wyatt Adkins, Madison Gargus, Jessica McDaniel and Cody Bowen.
