She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin; and her parents, James Benjamin and Maudie Myatt (Kimbro). She is survived by: her children, Don Brown of Knoxville, TN, Larry Genry of Nashville, TN, Roger Gentry (Beverly) of Parsons, TN, Judy Weaver (Wayne) of Franklin, TN, Reta Brown of Burns, TN, Carolyn Yokley of Nashville, TN and Melva Warden (Byron) of Dickson, TN.; her daughter-in-law Teresa Brown of Spring Hill, TN; and her former husband Ezell Brown.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Spann Funeral Home (1961 Hwy 48 N, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Hall Cemetery or Burns Methodist Church.
