It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennie Cross of Byrdstown, Tennessee, who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Pritchard and Bertha Pritchard (Jones); her husband James A. Cross; her son Mark Cross; and her siblings, Betty Neal, Sue Little, Smith Pritchard and J. C. Pritchard.
She is survived by: her children, Sherrie Brown, Francis, Jamie Claborn (Joey), Van Cross (Marilyn) and Jeff Cross (Jackie); her daughter-in-law Shirley Cross; and her sister-in-law Rita Pritchard. She is also survived by grandchildren and (20) great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Chapel (202 W Main St, Byrdstown, TN 38549). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
