She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Lee and Esta Morningstar (Rhule); her sisters, Sue Shirrell, Alta Segraves and Joyce Lee; her son Jerry Simmons; her daughter-in-law Lori Neal; her grandchildren, Josh Simmons and Michelle Gruwell; and her great grandchild Lexi Simmons.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Simmons; her sons, Carl Simmons (Becky) and Tim Neal; her daughter-in-law Teresa Simmons; and her brothers, William Lee Jr., Larry and Johnny Lee.
