He is survived by: his wife Shirley Garrett (Tompkins); his children, Luke Garrett and Kim Arms (Bryan); his granddaughter CarolAnn White (Remi); his siblings, Joyce Sweat and Wendell Garrett (Jimmie Nell); and his brother-in-law Gary Young (Linda).
