He was predeceased by: his father Curtis Matheny; his brother Donnie Matheny; and his parents-in-law, Bill and Faye Rich. He is survived by: his mother Anna Mae Matheny (Flowers); his wife Diane Matheny (Rich); his children, Pyretta Elder and William Matheny (Amanda); his grandchildren, Malli, Camryn, Layla Elder, Finley and Hattie Claire Matheny; and his sister-in-law Becky Matheny. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
Memorial contributions in memory of Ronnie can be given to First Baptist Church of Byrdstown building fund or the Gideons International.
