He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sowders and Mauda Sowders; his wife Norma Jean Souders; his siblings, Mack, Travis, Noble, Lonzie Souders, Flora Foust and Martha McFarland; and his children, John, Robert Souders and Mary Eide.
He is survived by: his sister Floy Davis; his children, Katie Pack (Larry), Michael Souders, Kay Valentine (Chuck), Randy Collins, Bill Souders (Laura), Greg Souders and Aaron Souders (Mireya); and his pet Digger. He is also survived by 100 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
