She was predeceased by : her husband William Elbert "J. D." Walker; her grandparents, Fred and Mary Belle McNabb; her parents, Eva Geraldine Wolffe McNabb and James McNabb; her sister Kris Lawrence; her daughter Janet F. Walker Brown; and her grandson Matthew Burke.

She is survived by : her children, John W. Walker of Calhoun, TN, David Walker (Alla) of Loganville, GA, Daris Anne Burke (Richard) of Athens and Wanda Walker Crockett (Tim) of Athens; her grandchildren, Cayci Norman, Hayley Brown, Cara Walker, Rachel Burke, Jillian Walker, Carson Walker, Rebekah Burke, Makena Crockett, Katie Belle Crockett, Kylie Grace Crockett, Cannon Walker Crockett and Cade Crockett; her great grandchildren, Kennedy Burke, Callie June Norman and Miles Norman; and her sisters, Sharon Kay McCurry and Diane Blankenship.
