Ruth Lucille Bryan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Lucille Bryan of Calhoun, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh E. "Hootie" Bryan; her parents, Armon Myers and Pearl Silvey Myers; her siblings, Melvin, Dewey, Ray, Wayne Myers, Mary Lynn Myers and Edith Myers Brunt; and her granddaughter Kelsey Ruth Spann.
She is survived by: her children, Hugh P. Bryan (Ilene) of Decatur, Laura Spann (Rickey) of White Bluff and Lila Chaffin of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Missy Bryan, Summer Keylon (Jason) and Clint Spann (Kortnee); her great grandchildren, Sienna, Sydney Keylon, Aiden and Annabelle Spann; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Anne Myers and Jimmy Bryan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calhoun United Methodist Church (820 TN-163, Calhoun, TN 37309). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
