She was predeceased by: her siblings, Doris Louise Mitchell (Dot) and Robert W. Payne (Bob). She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline "Miss Jackie" Carver (Jacky Sr.) of Carthage, William Thomas "Bill" Stafford (Bonnie McDonald Stafford) of Gordonsville, David Smith of Monteagle, Judy Smith (George) of Carthage and Sherye Sims (Mike) of Westminster, Maryland; and her grandchildren, Jacky Carver Jr. (Liz Tedrow Carver) of Gordonsville, Kristie Dixon of Gordonsville, Bryan Stafford (Jasmine) of Gordonsville, Dawn Stafford of Gordonsville and Lacey Carter Crockett (Jeff Crockett). She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; best friend.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hickman Baptist Church (15 Sykes Rd, Hickman, TN 38567).
