He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Davis Sr. and Cora Ann Jackson Davis; and his sisters, Linda Davis Delph, Mary Jo Davis Gibbs and Jerry Wayne Davis (Mickey).

He is survived by: his wife Lillian Rosetta Virginia Grisham; his stepchildren, Holly Davis Fordyce (George) of Baxter and David Wayne Davis; his siblings, Brenda Spann, Kenneth Davis (Daisy) of Gainesboro and Michael Davis (Mike); his grandchildren, Ashton Phillips (Carly), Sabastian Phillips and Cayden Fordyce of Baxter; and his great grandchild Asher Phillips.
