In the sacred silence of farewell, Darrel is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Chester McDonald "Donnie" Piatt and Pearl Wave Enloe Piatt; his children, Kristy Pipkin (Nathan) of Union, MO and Michael Brendel of Washington, MO; his grandchildren, Allison, Luci, Jamieson, Augustine and Mavis; his sister Darlene Wallace of Elkeno, OK; and his brother-in-law Jack Gregory.
