With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edna Dickens (Carthage, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Stanton Wallace and Bertie Lorene Sexton Wallace; her siblings, Harrison Wallace, Sue Wallace Thompson, Elma Dean Wallace Martin and Clyde Wallace; and her daughter Vickey Dee Dickens Driver.
She is survived by: her children, Stanley K. Dickens (Teresa) of Hartsville and Candice Dickens Hall (Rick) of Hartsville; her children-in-law, Janet Driver Dickens and Eld; her sister Faye Blackwell; her brother-in-law Gordon Thompson of Woodbury; and her grandchildren, J. D. Driver (Nikki), Mitchell Dickens (Jennifer Wilburn), Richard Driver (Sara Vantrease), Amanda Hicks (Chris) of Carthage, Carrie Wright (Adam) of Carthage, Holly Harper (Nick) of Hartsville and Lyndsey Linville (D. J.) of Hartsville. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
The Dickens family has requested memorials to the Trousdale County Help Center.
