Jerry Gammon Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Gammon (Carthage, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Willie Cephus Gammon Jr.; his brother Jackie Howell Gammon; and his brother-in-law Harry Lee Davis Jr.. He is survived by: his father Lafayette Gammon; his wife Suzanne; his children, Heather Gammon of Carthage, Christy Gammon England (Paul Allen) of Parsons, Julie Gammon Wyatt (Luke) of Nashville and Jerry Wayne Gammon Jr. (Jodi) of Carthage; his sister Jeanette Gammon Watts (Bruce) of Carthage; his grandchildren, Bennett Wayne Gammon, Suzanna Freddie Gammon, Millie Jo England, Clara Frances England and Lawson Wayne England; and his siblings-in-law, Pam Hiett Davis, Alan and Suzette Davis Long. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The Gammon family has requested memorials to the Carthage United Methodist Church.
