Larry Butler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2025, at the age of 79, Larry Butler (Carthage, Tennessee) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Larry Butler to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Cordell Butler and Ruby Irene Hailey Butler; and his brother Charles Alfred Butler. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Billie Butler; his grandchildren, An'drea Lauren Butler McCarter (Jason), Justin Scott Butler (Jade Bryant Butler) of Gordonsville and Landon Turner Butler; his siblings, Mollie Butler Anderson of Watertown and Ronnie "Cricket" Butler Sr. (Frances) of Carthage; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Butler (Barbara Butler) of South Carthage; and his great grandchildren, Ruby Lois McCarter, Bryant and Bo Butler of Gordonsville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sanderson Funeral Homes, Inc. (901 Main St N, Carthage, TN 37030-1002). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
The Butler family has requested memorials to the Gentiva Hospice Foundation of Livingston.
