We are sad to announce that, on December 30, 2025, at the age of 78, Miles Moore (Carthage, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Miles leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Miles may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Moore and Peggy Eplin Moore; his wife Vivian Mann Moore; his stepfather Ralph Tawil; his brother Douglas Eplin; and the mother of his children Reba Kisamore Moore Beaver.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Moore (Versie), Shane Moore (Pamela) of Carolina Beach and Jodi Moore (Larry Horn) of Columbus, Ohio; and his siblings, Teresa Lacaria of Virginia and Eric Tawil of Las Cruces. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
