He is survived by: his daughter Robin Vongsamphanh (Chanthavy); his grandchildren, Ben Vongsamphanh of Hermitage, Niki Vongsamphanh of Hermitage, Andrew Vongsamphanh of Hermitage and Jacqueline Vongsamphanh of Hermitage; his close friend Gorgia Burk of Buffalo Valley; and his brother James Smith of Lascassas.
