He was predeceased by: his sister Donna Harris Armistead (David L. Armistead). He is survived by: his wife Paula; his children, Kim Armistead Lamont (Steve) and Greg Armistead of Hermitage; his sisters, Carol Armistead Keegan (Frank) of Columbia and Sara Armistead of Morristown, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Emily Lamont King (Zakk) of Algood and Lauren Lamont of Raleigh.
