It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Daniel Daugherty of Caryville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dan Daugherty and Mary Seiber Daugherty; and his siblings, Paul, Sam Daugherty, Margaret McGhee and Geneva Newport.

He is survived by : his wife Evadean Ward Daugherty of Caryville; his daughters, Melissa Daugherty (Stoney Bolton), Mary Cardwell (Bobby) of Jacksboro, Trula Foust (Stan) of LaFollette and Linda Ward (David) of Jacksboro; his grandchildren, Jessica Freeman (Jason), Brandy Byrge, Brittany Broughton (Nate), Darian Foust (Brittany), Mallory Adkins (Robert), Kenny Byrge, Devan Foust, Maura Guder (Damien), Megan Ward and Abby Cardwell; his great grandchildren, Lauren, Bentley, Maddox, Tylee, Gaige, Canon, Kaelin, Coleman, Norris and Luke; and his siblings, John Daugherty of Jacksboro, Nancy Lynch of Caryville and Maggie Daugherty of Caryville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.
