It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dora Anne Strode of Castalian Springs, Tennessee, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Strode; her siblings, Richard Banten, Marion Bestle, Margaret "Peggy" Banten and Patricia Mitola; her son-in-law Brian Harbour; and her parents, Margaret Banten and Harold Banten.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Harbour of Gallatin, Michael Maxwell-Lance of New York, Christopher Kane of Castalian Springs and Susan Phillips of Gallatin; and her sister Jean Bayly. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gallatin (100 Albert Gallatin Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066).
