He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Halpin; his children, Richard Garifine Jr. (Pam), Kimberly Tabussi (Andrew), Jennifer Averitte (Lynn) and Michael Halpin (Nicole); his grandchildren, Kara Russell (Justin), Johnny Allen (Danielle), Christopher Tabussi and Ryan Tabussi; and his great grandchildren, Charlie, Ida and Charles.
