She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Ray Gateley and Dora Mae Gately (Hamilton); her husband Richard McAlexander; and her siblings, James Gateley, Jessie Long, Melia Qua Surrat and Sammy Gateley.
She is survived by: her sons, Roger McAlexander (Laura), Ricky McAlexander (Cheryl) and Randy McAlexander (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Genji Prater (Chad), Alex McAlexander (Hannah), Kelsey Krause (Micheal) and Heath McAlexander; her stepgrandson Matt Jones (Laura); her great grandchildren, Ealon and Anson Prater; her nieces, Vanessa Massie (Byron) and Daisy Vaughn (Shannon); her great-nieces, Catherine, Christy and Makayla; and her great-nephew Dalton.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home (21190 E Main St, Huntingdon, TN 38344). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home (21190 E Main St, Huntingdon, TN 38344).
